Usage

10KV overhead cable is suitable for use in rated AC voltage U( Um ) 13,d0(12)KV overhead transmitting circuit.

Properties for Use

a. Rated voltage is 10KV

b. Temperature for laying cable should be not less than – 20 ℃

c. For short circuit ( 5 s ) , the max. cable temperature is :

HDPE insulation 150 ℃ ;  XLPE insulation 250 ℃

d. Max. work temperature of cable conductor for a long period is :

α. Cable with stress structure: HDPE insulation 75 ℃; XLPE insulation 90 ℃;

β.Cable without stress structure , has not been stipulated in GB, for actual situation , it should not exceed stipulated value “ a ”.

e. The time for cable single phase earthing breakdown is not bigger than 1 min. also the longest should not exceed 8h each time and an annual accumulation not exceeding 125 h .

f. Allowed cable bend radius should be not less than :

α. Single – core cable 20(D+d)±5% mm , TR structure is 20 D mm ;

β.Multi-core cable 15(D+d) ±5% mm .
