ΒΜΠ-1 Infantry Combat Vehicle is a new type of combat vehicle in the former Soviet Union in the mid-1960s, mainly equipped with tank divisions and motorized infantry divisions of the Soviet Army.
Power assembly modification integrates engine and its auxiliary system, transmission system, steering system, heat dissipation and control system. It is mainly used in tank and armored vehicle to realize the integration of power cabin. After the modification of the power assembly, automatic transmission and steering wheel hydraulic stepless steering are realized, which can make the tank realize zero radius steering and improve the vehicle's passing ability on narrow road surface. The unit power is increased from 17 kw/t to 20 kw/t, which is basically equivalent to the unit power of the new armored vehicles with similar functions in the world. The power performance has been further improved. The average speed and the maximum speed of cross-country driving have been greatly improved, and it greatly reduces the difficulty of driving control and labor intensity.
