Honeycomb Polycarbonate Sheet

Honeycomb polycarbonate sheet is another type of polycarbonate sheet with honeycomb section, it greats higher impact resistance than twin wall polycarbonate sheet, but almost the same light transmittance, therefore, it is the right material even under the hurricane, hailstone, heavy snowfall, sandstorm weather. The excellent flexibility gives designers more freedom on commercial greenhouse and building roof. With the honeycomb insulating air space, honeycomb polycarbonate sheet offers the outstanding thermal insulation, it has great performance in extremely cold/hot weather.

The 50 um UV protective layer was coated on one/both sides, therefore honeycomb polycarbonate sheet works well under intense ultraviolet for more than 10 years.

Hollow Polycarbonate sheets have a special honeycomb insulating air space, therefore, the most obvious attributes are excellent impact resistance and outstanding thermal insulation. The impact resistance is 30-50% higher than twin wall polycarbonate sheet, the thermal insulation is 40-60% higher than the solid polycarbonate sheet. Therefore, the honeycomb polycarbonate sheet works well and withstand heavy snow, sandstorm, hailstone, and hurricane without breaking or buckling. With the UV protective layer, honeycomb polycarbonate panels work well under strong ultraviolet and a large temperature range from -40°C to +120°C
