With the rapid development of 3D printing technology, combined with the application of computer technology, great changes have been brought to the structure design, process formulation, press design and manufacturing, wax mold forming, shell manufacturing, core manufacturing of investment casting. The biggest advantage of 3D printing for investment casting is that the casting has a high dimensional accuracy and surface finish, so it can reduce the machining work, just leave a little machining allowance for the parts with high requirements, and even leave only grinding and polishing allowance for some castings, which can be used without machining. It can be seen that the investment casting method can save a lot of machine equipment and processing time, greatly save metal raw materials, and environmental protection.
