SUS series stainless steel from Japan.

SUS430 is a universal steel grade with good corrosion resistance.

SUS430 features

Good machinability, good stress corrosion resistance, typical non-heat treatment hardening ferritic stainless steel system; Low thermal expansion rate, excellent oxidation resistance;

SUS430 stainless steel is a good corrosion resistance and general steel, thermal conductivity is better than austenite, thermal expansion coefficient is smaller than austenite, heat resistance fatigue, add stabilized element titanium, mechanical properties of weld joints.

SUS430F is 430 steel with free cutting properties. For automatic lathes, bolts and nuts, etc.

SUS430 stainless steel has the following states, different states, dirty and corrosion resistance is not the same.

NO. 1:2d, 2B, N0.4, HL, BA, Mirror, and various other surface treatment states. 2D is slightly shiny silver white, the process is: hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling; 2B is silver white and better than 2D surface gloss and flatness, the process is: hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + tempered rolling;

No.2 has better gloss, rough lines, process: 2D products or 2B with 100~120 grinding materials (JIS R6002) polishing and rolling;

No.3 has better gloss, fine lines process: 2D products or 2B with 150~180 grinding materials (JIS R6002) polishing and tempering rolling; HL is silver gray and has hair stripes. The process is: 2D or 2B products are polished with appropriate abrasive materials to make the surface continuous grinding grain.

SUS430 purposes

Decorative materials and outdoor advertising column;

For products requiring stress corrosion resistance;

Electronic products, tableware, bolts, nuts, screens and burners, etc.

Used for building decoration parts, fuel burner parts, household appliances, home appliance parts. In oxidizing acid solution especially in nitric acid has good corrosion resistance, so it is widely used in the manufacture of nitric acid chemical equipment, such as absorption tower, nitric acid heat exchanger, acid tank, conveying pipe and tank, but also can make food, wine and other industrial pipes and tableware.

SUS430 mechanical properties

The tensile strength was greater than 450, the yield strength was greater than 205, and the HBS was less than 183 (the data were annealed). Commonly used as building decoration, heavy oil burner parts, etc. SUS430LX adds Ti or Nb in SUS430 steel, reduces THE C content, and improves the machining performance and welding performance. For hot water tanks, heating water systems, sanitary appliances, household durable appliances, bicycle flywheels, etc. SUS430 stainless steel, steel +12% chromium can prevent oxidation caused by natural factors, known as stainless steel, JIS code for 430, so also known as SUS430 stainless steel. But SUS430 stainless steel can not resist oxidation caused by chemicals in the air, because of the acidic chemicals in the air more and more, so SUS430 stainless steel often used after a period of time, will still have oxidation (rust) due to unnatural factors.
