The WX1601 is a a wide input range low dropout regulator of ultra low quiescent current. With an input voltage range of 4V to 60V and ultra low quiescent current of 4uA, the regulator is perfectly suitable for automotive or any other supply systems connected permanently to the battery. The WX1601 is the adjustable output version with an accuracy of 2%, and output current capability up to 100mA. Proprietary design makes it both fast and power saving. 75dB PSRR at 100Hz and 4uA Iq well suits well for battery powered systems. Only one small ceramic capacitor of 1uF at output is enough to maintain stability at all load conditions.The WX1601 provides full fault protection including current limit, short circuit protection and thermal shut down.When the device is switched off by EN, the current consumption is typically less than 1uA.The W1601 is available in SOP-8L package.
