What is Andarine（S4）？
Andarine, also known by its research name S4, is a SARM that was initially developed to help treat patients suffering from musculoskeletal diseases.
Similar to other SARMs, Andarine is orally bio-available, and exerts a strong anabolic effect on the human body, encouraging lean muscle growth.
S-4 in particular was developed by GTx Pharmaceuticals, with the intent of using it to help treat muscle wasting conditions. 
Body builders quickly realized, however, that if a healthy individual takes a SARM like Andarine, their body will rapidly begin packing on muscle mass.

Application:

Andarine is a brand of selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM). The full name is S-40503 but called S-4 for short. The product was manufactured by Kaken Pharmaceuticals, a Japanese pharmaceutical company, for the treatment of osteoporosis. SARM comes in different versions with the stronger version called Andarine and it happens to be my favorite of all SARMS in the market today.

How Does Andarine work?

Andarine binds incredibly well to the androgen receptors of bone and muscle. While it doesn't tend to impress in terms of building pounds upon pounds of muscle like trenbolone will, it has amazing effects on fat loss. Why? Andarine is the least anabolic, yet most androgenic of the SARMS. When androgenic hormones or sarms attach to the androgen receptors in your adipose tissue or fat (yes we have androgen receptors in our fat too) they trigger fat oxidation.

This SARM is selective and shows no noticeable prostate activity. Andarine proved to be poor at building muscle tissue at lower doses, but it did, in fact, build lean hard muscle tissue at higher doses. These tissue gains have often been compared to that of winstrol or anavar, but, of course, without the associated androgenic side effects. Andarine is especially outstanding at strengthening, preserving and even building bone mass.

S-4 has overall presented larger increases in muscle mass than DHT.
