Physical properties
1. Appearance: HEMC is white or almost white fibrous or granular powder; odorless.
2. Solubility: The HEMC can dissolve in cold water .

4. MHEC has the characteristics of thickening, suspension, dispersion, adhesion, emulsification, film formation, and water retention.Its water retention is stronger than that of methyl cellulose, and its viscosity stability, anti-fungal and dispersibility are stronger.
