PSA oxygen generation system mainly consists of air compressor, activated carbon filter, air dryer, air buffer tank, oxygen generation host, oxygen compressor, etc. After removing dust particles through the intake filter, the raw air is pressurized to 0.5Mpa by the air compressor. First, a small amount of oil entrained by the compressed air when the air compressor was just started is removed by the activated carbon filter, and then condensed by the air dryer to remove water, which enters an adsorber of the oxygen generation host. The adsorber is filled with adsorbent, in which water, carbon dioxide, and a small amount of other gas components are adsorbed by the activated alumina filled at the bottom at the inlet of the adsorber, and then nitrogen is adsorbed by the molecular sieve filled at the top of the activated alumina. Oxygen, as a non adsorbed component, is discharged from the top outlet of the adsorber as product gas to the oxygen balance tank, increased to the required oxygen consumption pressure by an oxygen compressor, and sent to the subsequent oxygen consumption section for use.

When one of the adsorbers of the main oxygen generator is adsorbed to a certain extent, the adsorbent in it will reach a saturated state. At this time, the adsorbed water, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and a small amount of other gas components will be discharged to the atmosphere through the switching valve, and the adsorbent will be regenerated.
