Coreless motors are permanent magnet, DC, servo micro-special motors with many excellent characteristics, such as stable operation characteristics, outstanding energy-saving characteristics, and sensitive and convenient control characteristics. Unlike the rotor structure of traditional motors, coreless motors use coreless rotors, also called hollow cup rotors. This avoids the power loss caused by the internal eddy currents of the core rotor structure. Moreover, the moment of inertia and weight of coreless motors are significantly lower than those of ordinary motors, so the mechanical energy loss of the motor itself will also be reduced during the operation of the motor. The relatively reduced moment of inertia, weight, and density make coreless motors have good control characteristics, quick starting and braking, and extremely fast response. Coreless motors also have good drag characteristics, strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability, light weight, and small size.
