Product Description
What is a magnetic coupling
The magnetic drive coupling is a non-contact coupling, which is generally composed of two magnets inside and outside. The two magnets are separated by an isolation cover in the middle. The inner magnet is connected with the driven part, and the outer magnet is connected with the power part. In addition to the cushioning and vibration absorption function of elastic coupling, the biggest feature of magnetic drive coupling is that it breaks the structural form of traditional coupling and adopts a new magnetic coupling principle to realize the transmission of force and torque between driving shaft and driven shaft without direct contact, and can turn dynamic seal into static seal to realize zero leakage. Therefore, it is widely used in occasions with special requirements for leakage.
Working principle of magnetic coupling
There are two main types of magnetic drive couplings: planar magnetic drive couplings and coaxial magnetic drive couplings. The magnet is magnetized axially, and the coupling magnetic pole is axially configured, which is called planar magnetic drive coupling. The magnet is magnetized in radial direction, and the coupling magnetic pole is configured in radial direction, which is called coaxial magnetic drive coupling.
