Calcium ammonium nitrate is a nitrogen fertiliser made by melting ammonium nitrate with a certain proportion of limestone and dolomite powder. The composition is NH4NO3 and CaCO3, MgCO3 mixture. Calcium ammonium nitrate contains 21% to 26% nitrogen (N), grey or light yellow particles or powder, the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline.
