A capsule slip ring is a kind of miniature slip ring, it’s a small device which normally use to transmit of various signals and power, such as electrical currents, analog or digital signals, Ethernet, USB, or other data protocols, across a rotating interface.

 

Slip ring is commonly used in applications where continuous rotation is required while maintaining electrical connectivity between stationary and rotating parts. Inside of the slip ring, there are conductive rings or channels on both the stator and rotor sides. The rings on the stator are stationary, while the rings on the rotor rotate with the rotating component. Each ring is connected to an electrical circuit or channel.
