A dual interface card is a smart card made of PVC laminated chip coils, based on a single chip and integrating contact and non-contact interfaces. It has two operating interfaces, and access to the chip can be achieved through contact contacts or through radio frequency at a certain distance (within 10cm). There is only one chip and two interfaces on the card, and the same operation can be performed through both contact and non-contact interfaces. The two interfaces follow two different standards, and the contact interface complies with ISO/IEC 7816; Non contact complies with ISO/IEC 14443. These two interfaces share the same microprocessor, operating system, and EEPROM. The card consists of a microprocessor chip and an antenna coil connected to the microprocessor. Energy is provided by the electromagnetic field generated by the reader and writer, and energy supply and data transmission are achieved through radio frequency.
