Property:It is fine white nontoxic and no curing pollution with specific gravity of 1.08.It can slightly dissolve in hot ethanol,but not in water.It will be decomposed to stearate or salt when meet strong acid and can absorb moisture in air.Much attention shall be paid during storage and transportation.

Application:Calcium stearate has good thermal stability,but poorer than Lead stearate and Barium stearate.It is better if used with Zn or Epoxy compound,so it is widely used for the nontoxic products.PVC can become bright red at 160℃ or heated for a long time.If in a larger quantity,it will has the frost phenomenon.
