The machines employ double column and gantry structure principle that a bed, double columns and a crossrail compose a closed rigid frame. The bed adopts V-type guideways, and the table guideways are coated with Teflon.
There are two saddles on the cross rail, respectively for horizontal spindle grinding wheelhead and universal spindle grinding wheelhead. The two grinding wheelhead respectively move up and down along the saddles, which move transversely along the crossrail.
The horizontal grinding wheel is dressed by the hydraulic profile-modeling dresser with the max. Traverse of 120mm and the min. Dressing amount of 0.001mm, and the universal one by the angle-rotatable dresser with the min. Indexing angle of 5degree. Both dressers are mounted on each grinding wheel.
This machine can be used for grinding surface, long but narrow curve contour and concave & convex slider etc.
