Aluminium stranded conductor (ASC) & Aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR )

      1. Application.
       
 AAC&ACSR have been widely used in overhead power transmission lines with various 
 voltage levels, since they have such good characteristics as simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost for lines, large transmission capacity and are suitable for laying across rivers and valleys with special geographical features, etc.
   
     2.Type
   
      The standard GB/1179-1999 is equal to IEC61089-1991. For AAC & ACSR, Contrast    of new, old GB standard with IEC standard.

Our company can not only produce ASC & ACSR according to the atandards of ASTM, DIN, BS etc, but also can produce non-standard ASC &ACSR according to customers' special requirement for cross section, structure and performance. And we can manufacture anti-corrosion ACSR according to the customers' needs of different anti-corrosion grades by way of applying an anti-corrosion coating between arbitrarily designated layers of ACSR.

      Note: For cables of those types in GB1179-83, there is still a lot of customers and a certain market during the transition from the old standards to the new ones, therefore, they can be treated as non-standard ( or customers' specially required ) products.

    3. Specification
      The product's specification number represents conductive cross section of hard round aluminium wire.

   4. Material standard
     The hard aluminium conductor used for ASC & ACSR implements GB/T17048 standard ( equal to adopt IEC 60889 standard ).
     The zinc-coated steel wire used for ACSR implements IEC 60888 standard.
     According to the needs of customers, that is, the material standards and requirements put forward by customers, we organise our productions

   5. Product Performance
     The electrical performance of ASC and ACSR is indicated in Ώ/km ( 20ºC). The resistivity of hard aluminium wire for conductors is not greater than 0.028264Ώ.mm2/m, the international univerasal standard value.

   6. Product Maintenance
     Any bump, press or damage should be avoilded during handling and transportation.
     The cable drum should not be placed flat during transportation and storage.
     Moisture resistant measures should be taken during storage.

   7. Notice upon ordering the cable

     The customer should provide the following information during order or consult:
     1).Type, specification, and stranding structure of the product;
     2).The standard to be implement;
     3).Products quantity;
     4).Stranding direction. ( if not specially required, the outer layer is right-handed).
     5).Anti-corrosion kind and requirement ( E.g: anti-corrosion is needed).
     6).Cable length and deviation on each drum, short cable length suitable for project, and
        percentage of short cable in lot delivery;
     7).Packing kind and special package requirements;
     8).Specially required test items, ways and test site.
     9).Delivery date and delivery way.
