During low daytime household energy consumption periods anyexcess energy generated by the solar power system is supplied back tothe AC mains supply grid resulting in a credit from your local powerprovider. Grid connect system operation is dependant on the AC mainssupply grid and does not provide backup power in the event of an ACmains outage.
