Core Layer Core layer is of high quality softwood(pine or poplar) with approximately 9mm thickness.The planks fit tightly together, because of the precision milling of tongue and groves in the core layer. The tongue and groove also show different depths - the tongue is not milled square, but conical and is slightly shorter than the groove, to ensure that enough space is left for excess adhesive. Veneer Whole plank of softwood veneer(pine or poplar), 2mm in thickness,can effectively isolate humidity,balance installation strain and function as insect proof.
