Bulletproof glass |
|
The bulletproof glass is the composite unit of laminated glass made with three layers of glasses with PVB film by special technologies, which may powerfully withstand the bullet and glass scraps broken by the bullet. The bulletproof performance of the bulletproof glass relies heavily on its total thickness and the energy of bullet. Within the range of weapon, the glass can stand against the bullet to penetrate through, featuring bulletproof, explosion prevention and theft protection, as well as the commonness of laminating glass. Its bulletproof property conforms to the requirements mentioned in standard UL752 and GA165-1997. Technical requirement of bulletproof glass: Perspective ratio % ≥70 Paramorphic deviation ≤15" Optical distortion ≤20" Resistance to impact The steel ball falls from 9m height and shall not penetrate through. Resistance-to-penetration DY-I, II, III bulletproof laminating glass can withstand the bullet of 64 Type, 54 Type 7.62mm pistol, and 79 Type 7.62mm micro submachine gun from penetration in 5, 7 and 10 distance respectively.
