Product Description

Features:
  • Headstock: The headstock is controlled by the plate cam which provides the longitudinal motions. The transmission ratio for the headstock can be changed from 3:1 to 1:1. It is made of special steel through high frequence heat treatment and precision grinding. It supported with four precision antifriction bearings. The front two bearings are needle roller bearings to reduce the friction and at the rear are adjustable angular contact bearings. Bearings support the pressure of the spindle and the tension of the belt. Any play can be self-adjusted.
  • Tool Stand: Five turning tools are arranged radially around a guide bushing, the combinations with the radial movements of the turning tools and the longitudinal movements of the headstock which is suitable of turning precision long parts. This is the features of the sliding headstock automatic lathe. Tool No.1 and No.5 are controlled by the plate cams. Tool No.2, 3 and 4 are controlled by the individual bell cams. All the five tool slides can be adjusted both in radial and axial directions. Tool No.1 and No.5 only could be used for radial adjustment by the micrometer screws (0.005m/m per division). The transmission ratio from the cam to the cutting edge of Tool No.1 and No.5 are 3:1, and the other tools are 2:1 to 3:1.
  • Three-Spindle Drilling & Threading Attachment: These attachments are available for centering, drilling, counter-sinking, right-hand and left-hand threads. They are drived by a double cone clutch device and two separately tensioned flat belts. For thread cutting, the speed of the headstock spindle remains the same, while the speed of the threading tool is increased or reduced. The attachment spindles can be used as follows:
    • Spindle (No.1): Rotation - Stop or Reverse / Action - Centering, Drilling
    • Spindle (No.2): Rotation - Normal or Reverse / Action - Threading, Drilling
    • Spindle (No.3): Normal or Stop / Action - Threading, Drilling
  • Threading Controlled Device: The attachment spindle speed must be varied while cutting thread. The attachment spindle runs at a speed faster or slower than the main spindle depending on the two belts of the cone clutch. It can be used for cutting long thread, right-hand and left-hand threads.
  • Cam Speed Controller: It transmits the power from the main power motor to the belt pulley and turns by clockwise. Using the frequency inverter to control the speed of cam or stop. In machining, if there is no required angle degree, it can use contact block to touch limit switch, let the cams turned promptly, and save time. It also let the cams turned slow down to reach the fine and shining parts. It can stop the cams to tap long thread also. This cam speed controller system has obtained the patent.
  • Bar Feed Device: This device is to feed the material into the headstock spindle by means of push-rod and balance weights. The material can be available up to 3 meters long. When the material has been used up, the camshaft clutch is disengaged automatically, the camshaft stops in a position given in advance and the red lamp lights up.
