Standard Ulpolen®1000 is the universal type primarily preferred in the application area on the condition that its technical characteristics are sufficient. Its cost is more convenient with respect to the types with additives.
An important factor in the selection of and definition of the materials is the difficulty in distinguishing Ulpolen®1000 from other polyethylene types in terms of physical aspect. The main differences in the technical characteristics are evidenced in the laboratory tests. Variation of Ulpolen®1000 in itself according to molecular weights and physical similarity with other polyethylene types are the vital factors that should be considered in the selection of materials.
In addition to “1000” quality, in a subgroup, Ulpolen®1000 is also present with different technical characteristics as Ulpolen®500 type which is primarily used in the food sector as the cutting plate (with 0,5 million molecular weight) and as Ulpolen®300 type which is used in the chemicals sector in the production of tanks that are resistant to chemical substances (with 0,3 million molecular weight).
