Equipotential Connection Box
The meaning of equipotential is to connect the outer covering or metal parts of equipment with the ground wire. It is used to connect the ground in the distribution room. It also can be used in bathroom for ordinary people.
The Equipotential Box is usually used in general industrial and civil buildings’ electrical installations to protect the electric shock, the explosion and the fire accident which cause by the breakdown of the ground connection, and the building struck by lightning. transient over-voltage and jamming on the equipment.
The Equipotential Box takes the steel ring of the high-rise residential. Hospital and swimming pool. the terminal of PE wire in distribution board, the socket, the water pipe, heating pipe, gas pipe and the metal bathtub. bath rack, shower handrail .refrigerator, air condition and the conductive flooring’s metal net to connect to their own terminal board of the the equipotential box so to make up their isopotential body to protect people and equipments.
Install：
Taking all kinds of metal pipes and structures (include the steel bar in the concrete slab) of the toilet or bathroom to connect the equipotential box with the copper wire which is not smaller than 4mm2.It should be noted that the equipotential leading wire should go through the plastic pipe when it is connect to the floor or wall in order to take convenience for changing the leading wire. Furthermore, the resistance between the metal pipe and terminals in the equipotential box should not more than 5. The connection of metal pipe usually does not need to add a jump wiring until turn bad. When the water pipe in the toilet or bathroom is made of plastic or metal pipe with plastic coated, the equipotential jump wire can be connect to the tap as it directly on the water pipe when taking the metal pipe. And the sewage pipe and water inlet is not interlinked, so the sewage pipe should also  to connect to the equipotential box.
