A special optical transceiver is designed according to the demands of users. The apparatusis utilized to transmit signals such as the clock signal, the signal level, the pulse signal, the network signal and the video signal.It mainly achieves the transmission among the multi-nodes. More specifically it achieves the multi-nodes communication of video, audio and network etc.It provides secure and interference free communication in chemically or electrically hazardous conditions.

Composing:

     The special optical transceiver comprises of an analog-to-digital conversion circuit、 a digital-to-analog conversion circuit、an Ethernet switch circuit、an Ethernet protocol conversion circuit, a pulse signal interface circuit、a FPGA circuit、a multiplexing /demultiplexing circuit、a photoelectric conversion circuit.

Functions:

  • The analog-to-digital conversion circuit completes high-speed sampling,  maintenance, quantification, encoding processing for analog signal, at last the output signals are parallel digital signals;
  • The digital-to-analog conversion is the inverse process of analog-digital conversion; at last, the output signal is analog signal;
  •   The Ethernet switch circuit achieves the network interface communication among the optical transceivers;
  •   The Ethernet protocol conversion circuit makes that the Ethernet data signal is transmitted with other signals by the multiplexing/ demultiplexing circuit;
  •   The level/pulse signal interface circuit completes interface protection, photoelectric isolation, and level-shifting function;
  •   The FPGA mainly achieves primary multiplexing and secondary demultiplexing for signals;
  •   The multiplexing /demultiplexing circuit includes multiplexing unit and demultiplexing unit. The multiplexing unit will process the parallel digital signals through TDM, so that the output signal is a high-speed serial data stream. The demultiplexing unit changes the received high-speed serial signal into the parallel multi-channel signals.
