Highly graphitized yarn gives excellent performance in extreme pressure/temperature situations. With superb resistance to chemicals, plus good thermal conductivity, Garlock graphitic packings also retain all of the volume and don't harden in use, making replacement easier.

 

 

A premium grade graphite yarn packing that is r ed enough to meet many industrial high-temperature applications.  Compared to most braided packings, it reduces shaft wear, requires less run-in, and better resists many strong chemicals.  Low coefficient of friction and good thermal conductivity make G-200 ideal for rotary shafts of pumps, agitators, mixers, crystallizers, filters, continuous digesters, reciprocating pump rods and slip-type expansion joints.
