Structure of the Silica Gel Scar Sheet

The Silica Gel Scar Sheet is a kind of biomimetic plaster made of organosiliconwith biological activity under the TTS technology. By means of molecular multiplexing technology, the plaster multiplexes the heterogeneous collagen molecules with netted organic silicon, combined with collagen repair factor, to get the three-layer structure similar to the dermis, epidermis and stratum corneum of the skin, so as to slow down the collagen fiber hyperplasia and hydrate and decompose the irregular collagen fibers. Through the trilogy of “softening, restoring and regeneration", it can awaken the memory of the skin to fully repair various scar tissues.

How Does theSilica Gel Scar Sheet Remove Scars

The Silica gel can directly act on the scar surface. As a semi-permeable membrane, it can partly restrict the water permeability on the scar surface and promote the moisture accumulation under the scar epidermics, resulting in hydration. Studies have shown that using the silica gel plaster can greatly reduce the number of the positive cells of the fibroblastβ1 growth factor (TGF β1), which indicates that the silica gel plaster acts on scars possibly by adjusting the relationship between cell factors and fibroblasts. Experiments show that the silicone oil slowly released from the silica gel membrane can inhibit the strengthening of the fibroblasts inside the scar tissue, thereby inhibiting the formation of hypertrophic scars.

Through the trilogy of “softening, restoring and regeneration", it can awaken the memory of the skin to fully repair various scar tissues.

How to use:

1) Tear out the aluminized bag of the scar plaster.

2) In accordance with the size and shape of the scar, cut off a patch of plaster. If the scar area is larger, cut off several patches to apply at the same time with the edges aligned.

3) Remove the plastic film from the back of the plaster carefully and fasten the viscous side onto the clean scar. The plaster can also be fastened well to the scarred joints. With good extensibility, it won’t tend to fall off. However, during sleeping or doing a lot of exercise, you can use the thin flex yarn tape or adhesive plaster to fix it.

4) To adapt to the skin, apply it for 4-8 hours a day for the first several days and longer and longer to even 24 hours a day later on

5) Replace it when its viscosity drops a lot.

6) Each period of treatment lasts two months. In case of serious scars, keep using it for 3-6 months.

Cautions:

1) Very few people are allergic to silica gel. Stop using it in case of itching, blister or slight impregnation.

2) Don’t apply it to a surgical wound until suture removal (better one week after suture removal).

3) When it is used on unclean skins or with excessive tightness, some people are subject to roseola. So one must clean the skin surface concerned before using it.

4) The product can be used repeatedly. When the sticky surface is dirty, wash it with warm water and get it dry before reusing it, until the gummy surface loses its viscosity (use it by the same person).
