Product Description
Black Silicon Carbide, produced at a high temperature in an electric resistance furnace with quartz sand and petrol coke as its main raw material, has a high hardness between corundum and diamond and a higher mechanical strength than corundum. And it is brittle and sharp, and also has certain electronic and heat conductivity. Abrasive tool made from it is applicable to manufacturing both metal and nonmetal material of high tensile strengthsuch as gray cast iron，nonferrous metal, stone, leather, rubber and so on. It is also widely used in refractories and metallurgical additive.
