Product Description

MCD May is a transceiver module of short-distance (100m in open space) wireless audio transmission, exclusively designed for analog wireless headphone of 863/915MHz in Europe and the United States. Its design meets the needs of analog wireless headphone CE/FCC in Europe and the United States. The receiver consists of VCO, PLL, RF receiving, stereo demodulation, squelch circuit, MCU frequency control and other functions. Stereo wireless headphone receiver could be made by simply adding a corresponding audio amplifying board, a speaker, an antenna, an audio socket, a DIP switch for frequency setting and a headphone shell. The transmitter consists of VCO, PLL audio modulation, audio signal detection, RF amplifier, MCU frequency control and other functions. Wireless headphone transmitter could be made by simply adding an external audio board (stereo modulation, ALC circuit, corresponding socket, and so on), an antenna and a shell. The transceiver module may be embedded in a variety of devices such as general audio amplifiers and lights.

MCD May is characterized by RF function that is difficult to achieve for wireless headphone. Only by matching with customers’ own audio circuit, wireless headphone of 863/915MHz in Europe and the United States could be assembled. The RX size is as small as 33*48.4mm, and the voltage is as low as 2.2~3.5V. It is equipped with squelch circuit, and the receiving sensitivity is -108dBm @ 12dBSINAD. The TX size is as small as 20X43.8mm, with transmitting power 10dBm. With a reasonably matched antenna, the transmission distance of MCD May transceiver in open space is 200m (not headphone), and indoor transmission distance across rooms is 25m, without staccato.

MCD May receiver could be set as mono or stereo. There is squelch function if it is set as stereo. The frequency of pilot signal is 19 KHz, with frequency response within 15 KHz. There is no squelch function if it is set as mono, with frequency response exceeding 20 KHz.
