n DC motor: about 8 years (with thermostat controller 27°C ~ 30°C), about 3 years (without thermostat controller)

If one prefers using a Brushless DC motor fan, only USD 14 shall be added to quoted unit price. 3 advantages of brushless DC motors:

l Bring about 8% to 12% higher output CFM  than brush type DC motor can drive

l Can run under overcast weather

With  at least twice service lifespan than brush type DC motor
