   Lycopene is a red carotenoid found in vegetables and fruit, particularly concentrated in tomatoes and watermelon. Lycopene, one of the carotenoid with powerful character of Anti-oxidation, is mainly existed in tomato, watermelon, red grapefruit ,chinese quava, guava, balsam pear ect. Lycopene is extracted from the fruits of Lycopersicon esculentum by supercritical CO2 extraction. It is brownish- red powder or cream.
