Description:

•  Tapered roller bearings consist of four independent components: the inner ring, the outer ring, the tapered roller (the rollingelements); and the cage (the roller retainers). And the inner ring with roller and cage assembly form the cone, and the outer ring is also called the cup.
•  The bearings are generally separable, i.e. the cone can be mounted separately from the cup(the outer ring).
• This type bearings are designed to accommodate both radial and axial loads.
• The taper roller bearings have the logetithmic contact profile that provided optimum stress distribution over the roller/raceway contacts. The special design of the sliding surface of the guide flange and large roller ends considerably promote lubricant film formation in the roller end/flange contact. The resulting benefits include increased operational reliability and reduced sensitivity to misalignment.
