Product Description

W-852 is a two part epoxy balancing compound for use in weight addition balancing of electric motor armatures. It is made from epoxy resin, hardener and filler etc. W-852 has a smooth, fibrous, putty-like consistency which keep the compound from migrating during the balancing process.
With characteristics of excellent bond strength, it is suitable for dynamic balancing of many sorts of armatures, such as: micro DC motor, series excited machine, servo motor, crane motor, electric welder, treadmill roller etc. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
How to use
Component A is yellow and component B is blue. Mixing ratio part A/B=1:1 by weight or by volume. The two parts are easily mixed by hand until the color is consistent sky blue. W-852 may then be placed on the motor armature as indicated until the armature is in balance. It cures at room temperature and cure time is less than 12h at 20-30℃, but may be accelerated with heat. Pot life of the mixture is above 1 hour depending on mass and temperature. Overnight, it cures to a solid which resists moisture and solvents.
