Pre-fused synthetic slag for refined steel-making is produced from high quality material melted in electro-furnace,after cooling,crushing and screening into different grit.
Usage:
If desulfurization is the main process, you shall add it to the capsule bottom with one-third of usage amount ,but it must be at the capsule bottom point of the steel pounding.With the outflow of molten steel, you shall add two-thirds of it. Usually usage amount is 6-8kg/1000kg,but depend on the original sulfur content in steel and the using results.

If deoxidation is the main process ,you shall add it to the capsule bottom directly before tapping.The amount of adding depends on the carbon content in the molten steel, and is generally 4-6kg/1000kg.When using calcium aluminate flux to deoxidize, the increasing carbon agent can be reduced by 30-50% in volume.
