The PolyWrapper S model is effective in applying tape to elbow joints and short stretches of pipe. Its wheels and frame are designed to move over round surfaces at an angle that maintains the desired overlap.

The percetage of tape overlap is detrmined by the position of the wheels. The common amount of overlap ranges between 20 to 50%.
