In the collector large fields of modular Fresnel receivers concentrate beam radiation on a stationary tubular receiver with high efficiency selective coating at several meters height. Namely, the receiver is the coated steel tube that HIMIN has been producing on a large scale. This receiver contains a second stage reflector that directs all incoming rays to a tubular absorber to heat transferring fluid in the tube (commonly refers to thermal crude oil) to produce steam and then electricity, using a turbine and generator. The components of Fresnel Power Generation system are low-cost normal parts that are available all over the world, which makes this technology more competitive comparing with other solar power technology.Himin coated steel absorber tube can be used at medium-high temperature in the air. The solar coated steel tubes absorbs sun radiation to heat transferring fluid in the tubes up to 300℃ to produce steam and then electricity, using a turbine directly or indirectly. The greatest advantages of our coating is that it can keep stable for long time at medium-high temperature (300~350℃) condition in the air and the efficiency of the coating can hardly been changed.

Himin’s coated steel absorber tubes have been passed tests of the National Solar Test Center in China and Fraunhofer Institute in Germany respectively. As tested, its absorptance is 95% at least and its emittance is less than 7% at 300℃ temperature condition. Furthermore, the coating film had a superior performance in the more than 10000h aging test. In the test, its absorptance has decreased less than 3% and its emissivity has risen less than 10%. The greatest advantage of the coating is its long-term stability and hardly-decreasing efficiency at medium- high temperature (300~350℃) condition in the air.
