1.   General

Model DGbm motor cylinder is a new generation of electric actuator and adopted to instead of manipulator, hydraulic pressure, pneumatics and other drive device. The model has the advantages of simple operation, easy maintenance, economic and practical.

2. Working Principle

Model DGbm motor cylinder is powered by electric motor, and drive the trapezoidal screw rod and nut through the gear graduation. It converts rotational motion to reciprocal linear motion.

3. Construction

Model DGbm motor cylinder consists of motor with brake, coupling, reducer, trapezoidal screw rod and nut, knuckle joint, housing washer, protecting cover and limit switch etc.(see attached drawing)

4. Maintenance

4.1 In order to assure positive actuation, it sets stroke limit switch. In order to avoid the damage of the motor cylinder, please assure the stroke limit switch is linked before operation.

4.2 During the operation, please assure do not contact anything.

4.3 Motor cylinder also can be manually operated. To manually operate the motor cylinder, first release the motor brake and then turn the manual rotation shaft of the reduction gear using an adjustable wrench or socket wrench. Be sure to remove any load before releasing the brake.

4.4 Lubrication

The motor cylinder has been lubricated with grease at the factory, so no lubrication is required at the first year under normal operation. And then add lubricating grease every six months. In case of frequency using, add lubricating grease every two to three months. Recommended grease designation: 2# lithium base grease.
