General Introduction
Distribution Transformer Monitoring Terminal (GPRS Meter) a new generation of brainpower terminal: exclusively designed for field service under distribution transformer; combining modern mobile communication technologies (GPRS, CDMA, CSD, SMS,PSTN); adopting main trend processor and super-large capacity memory chips whose strong operational capability ensure the implementation of complex functions (network communication, load management, data storage, data encryption, compression, erc); adopting Siemens industrial class wireless communication chip to make sure the reliability; modularization design, easy to upgrade and replace; providing the refined management with advanced technology tools.
Functions and Features
1. Measuring electricity parameters, such as: bi-directional active/reactive energy consumption, current, three phase voltage, power, and power factor.
2. Data display and storage: current, last 10 days, last 2 months, and total group.
3. Load curve: Keep the data of last 96 data points (default interval of 15 minutes, settable via main station), mainly containing totalgroup data (active/reactive power/energy curve) and point data (three phase total active/reactive power curve, active/reactive energy value-indicated curve, phase energy value-indicated curve, total and three phase power factor curve, three phase voltage/current curve).
4. Voltage passing rate statistics: according to the upper and lower limit voltage for equipment daily voltage statistics, max and vain voltage with occurrence time can be recorded (memory size: 10 items).
5. Channel: GPRS, CDMA.
6. Data transmission:
a) Active: report relevant data and abnormal alarm information at regular time.
b) Passive: take orders of detection (real-time data or historical data) and set up, etc.
7. Equipment self-inspection, reporting running state and fault information.
8. Parameters can be settable via local port, infrared and 485 ports.
9. Adapt itself to hi-low temperature, high humidity and other harsh operating environment.
10. Remote control functions.
Specifications and Parameters

3. Supply mode: Three phase power supply. The terminal still works normally even if power cut happens to one phase (3 phase 3 wire) or two phase (3 phase 4 phase)

5. Power consumption: 1VA/Phase in the waiting state (no communication with the front end processor)
6. Standby power supply: communicate with the main station at least one time (report the date, time, active/reactive power), keep data and maintain the clock chip (battery life: >=5 years) under the conditions of AC power failure
7. Local interface: Set up and read data via infrared or RS485
