The Y series three-phrase induction motor is designed as a completely isolated squirrel-cage with a self-cooling fan. This series are in line with the newest IEC and DIN42673 standard. The motors of the Y series have the following advantages; high reliability, increased efficiency, energy conservation, consistent performance, convenience of operation as well as maintenance, reduced noise, and minimal vibration, all the while following the provisions of IEC standards. Such motor is designed to operate in localities that do not contain flammable materials, explosive or corrosive gasses. As well the motor is intended for machines that requires no special requirements such as metal cutting machine tools, pumps, fans, mixers, transportation machinery, agricultural machinery, and food stuff machinery. Due to motor’s efficient starting processes it will be able to adapt to machinery with higher starting torque such as compressors.
