GC-2000-type compass converter: the traditional gyro compass can be synchronous or stepper analog signals into digital signals, and real-time display heading data, while providing multi-standard signal supply radar, autopilot, electronic charts, AIS, etc. equipment.

GC-2000-type compass converter output NMEA0183/IEC61162-1 standard data transmission protocol defined by the HDT statement.

Factory setting: When the GC-2000 products factory set: synchronous compass; transmitted to the ratio: 360X

Note: When you need to set the compass to the type selector switch or pass over the switch, please cut off the compass input signal.

 

3, wiring methods:

(1), input line (R1, R2, S1, S2, S3, COM) terminals corresponding to the gyro compass:

① If the number Step Luo Jingxin input signal should terminals S1, S2, S3, COM access to compass the corresponding signal. R1, R2 is vacant, do not take.

② If the input signal synchronization Luo Jingxin number, put the terminals S1, S2, S3 access to compass the corresponding signal, R1, R2 access excitation voltage, COM is vacant.

③ compass does not know the type, technical specifications, please check the compass.

④ found compass heading displayed in the main compass directions and change the heading direction changes in the opposite direction, you only need to S1, S2, S3 in the swap any two lines can get the correct direction of change.

 

(2), the output lines (422A, 422B, 232H, 232C, CLK-H, CLK-C, DATA-H, DATA-C) terminal:

4, methods of operation

 

[A], GC-2000 operation panel has three buttons, namely, * key, ▲ up, ▼ down.

 

The first step, by way of the power supply switch set the type of compass, compass according to the type of pass to set up than the switch.

The second step, connected output lines RS422, RS232, AD-10

The third step, the input signal line access compass S1, S2, S3, COM (step compass), or S1, S2, S3, R1, R2 (synchronous compass). Digital display flashes.

The fourth step, heading correction, up by ▲, ▼ keys down, adjust the display's main compass heading data and the point to the same.

The fifth step, press the * key once to display figures do not blink. At this time GC-2000 can be synchronized with the main display the correct compass heading data.

 

The sixth step, compass display settings:

When the flicker-free display heading data, click on the * key, shows, in order to set the compass is now transmitted to the type and ratio: Sync ---- synchronization StEP ---- Step Rnnn --- r than that transmitted to , nnn said the three digits, respectively, 360x, 180x, 90x, 45x, 36x.

 

Seventh step, adjust the bow to the display value:

When they find GC-2000 with the main compass display data does not match, the data need to be adjusted to match the display.

1, hold down the * key for about 3 seconds, the display flashes heading value.

2, up by ▲, ▼ key to adjust the displayed value down.

3, when the value of the main compass directions with the same, click the * key to complete the match.

 

Eighth step, adjust the display brightness:
