Eames DSR Chair

The current models look exactly the same as the originals. They remain unupholstered, in keeping with the Eameses' requirement that materials be expressed honestly and unselfconsciously. In fact, these were the first one-piece plastic chairs to be left uncovered. At the same time, the chairs are better than ever. For example, the shell is now manufactured using more environmentally friendly, high-impact plastic.
Colorful shells. Two to choose from: black or white. The shells of the Eames molded plastic chairs are dyed throughout so the colors remain rich and vibrant. The standard plastic glide for the feet is also available with felt to protect hard-surface floors

-Fiberglass or ABS plastic are available.
-Stainless steel frame or chrome frame are available
-Color available in Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Yellow, White and others

The DSR (1948)chair, the side chair with the four Rod legged base.The design of this Eames DSR Chair was first presented in 1948 at the Museum of Modern Art's competition 'Low cost furniture design' in New York. It was the first mass-produced chair made of fibreglass reinforced.
