MAINTENANCE:

When performing any maintenance or service:

.  The air compressor must be turned off.

.  Disconnect compressor from the power source.

.  Drain tanks.

.  Allow compressor to cool down.

 

MAINTENANCE CHECK LIST:

Daily:

     Check oil level.

          Drain accumulated liquid from tanks.

     Check for oil leaks.

          Check for unusual noise and/or vibrations

          Check that all fasteners are secure.

 

Weekly:

Check safety relief valve.

Inspect and clean air filter.

Clean breather holes on oil check dipstick.

 

Monthly:

   Check for air leaks. Apply a solution of soapy water around joints. Look for air bubbles around joints when compressor reaches the pressure cut-out limit and pump turns off.

 

SIX MONTHS OR 250 OPERATING HOURS:

Change compressor oil. Use only SAE 20 or SAE 30 weight non--detergent
