This new type ofSurface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technology (patented) uses beveled corners on the glass touchscreen to lower the height profile of the transducers. The result is a significantly thinner touchscreen that allows slimmer bezel design and also reduces danger of transducer breakage during the integration process.
