XINLI EPX Fusion Bonded Powder Coating for Valves and Fittings
This product is suitable for the application to enhanced anti-corrosion of valves and fittings. Epoxy powder coated layer provide a long term protection to the surface covered by more than 250µm thickness of valves and fittings, detected by 3KV electric sparkle, no holidays found. The coating method can be both fluidized bed process and electrostatic spray process, all of them can be realized automated production, an even and continuous surfaces can be achieved both at the interior and exterior of the valves and fittings.
Epoxy powder coating has a very good durability, coated layer adhering to the metal surface which has been shot blasted into good anchor pattern depth, it has very high impact resistant strength and exellent electric insulation. Epoxy resin technology lets metalworks heated to 200℃ to finish production under low energy consumption, automated production.

Application requirements:
1. Remove the oil, grease and other impurities on the external surface of the steel pipe by suitable means before application.
2. Preheating the steel pipe to 40-60℃ to drive away moisture before shot blasting.
3. Shot blast cleaning up to grade Sa21/2 of the GB/T 8923-1988—Rusted and derusted grade of steel material surface before coating, and the anchor pattern depth should be within 40-100µm.
4. Coating should be conducted within 8 hours after surface pretreatment, while rust reappearance or surface recontamination, the surface pretreatment must be conducted again.
5. Preheating temperature of the steel pipe should be within 180-250℃, not more than 275℃.
6. Powder coating should be sprayed on to the pipe by electrostatic or venturi spray, up to the required thickness. And curing process should be conducted according to the indicated curing temperature and time. Coating thickness requirements as follows:

Packing, Storage and Shipment
The product is not flammable and detonable, packed in a carton lined with dual plastic bags, net weight 25kg. Sunshine should be prevented during shipment, while a proper cooling measure should be taken at summer high temperature. The product should be stored in a cool, ventilation, and dry place, and environment temperature below 35℃. Storage quality assurance period is 12 months.

Application requirements:
1. Rebar should be shot/sand blasted to remove oil, grease, surface loose deposition, its surface quality should be up to grade Sa21/2 of GB8329, and abide by the requirement of JG3042-1997 Appendix A.
