River water will have a significant bacterial load and may also contain algae, suspended solids and a variety of dissolved constituents. There may be a requirement to reduce the iron or manganese content of this water to make it pleasant for drinking, cooking, and laundry use. And the pH value of water also should be adjusted. Disinfection may also be required.

Working process

1. Dosing system---get rid of some bacteria, microorganism, etc.
2. Quartz sand filter---- to prevent sand, flocculent and colloid entering into membrane element. Its basic filter element is formed by quartzes sand and anthracite.
3. Active carbon filter---- to absorb organic materials, residual chlorine and other injurants.
4. Precision filter (micro filter) ---- PP filter is installed to prevent fine particulate entering the ultra-filter.
5. Ultra-filtration membrane --- get rid of organic matters, residual chlorine, bacteria and other harmful substances, retaining beneficial trace elements and mineral substances.
