How it works?
The process begins by turning your 3D data in to a rigid master pattern, using either an SLA or machined model. Then silicone is cast around the master, partially under vacuum in order to avoid air bubbles being trapped in between the master and silicone. After curing, the mold is cut according to the parting planes and the master is removed, leaving a cavity to make copies.
Finish
We can approximate about any color, and can reference your physical sample (color chip) or Pantone number, just tell us what you’re looking for.
Threaded fasteners can be installed in your cast parts upon request from pressed-in brass inserts to threaded helicoils. Multiple materials can be cast in the same mold.

Application
Cast Urethanes are ideal for marketing samples, test prototypes, or other situations where 1-100 pieces are required, but time and money do not allow a prototype injection-molded tool to be produced.
Materials
We use materials which have material properties similar to production-like plastics.These materials are similar to ABS/PC/PMMA/Nylon/Rubber. For the rubber parts we can make hardness from 15A to 85A.
