Description of Deslagging Agent 

Deslagging Agent  is made of many mixed minerals by filtering, crushing and hot working, the main mineral composition is SiO2. As a new type of composite casting material in cleaning metal surface, it is used in covering liquid metal, deslagging, and purifying during the process of casting. 

Features of Deslagging Agent 

♦Rapidly gathered slag and debris in the liquid metal, efficient in deslagging, high finishing rate.

♦Isolate the contact between liquid metal and surrounding air, prevent oxidation of liquid metal        and heat loss.

♦Easy to disperse, spreading fast with even and strong film. Efficient in blocking slag when          pouring liquid metal, high refractoriness, no fusing under high temperature, no production of  secondary slag. And also avoiding the entrance of fine slag or sludge into mold cavity, reducing  slag inclusion of the casting to increase overall yield of casting.

♦ Do not contaminate liquid steel, no dust in using, do no harm to workers’ health.

Use-Method of Deslagging Agent 

When the liquid metal bag was filled, throw this product into the bag container evenly, immediately stir in with garbage rod from the bag margin to the center, and then pull out the rod. When covering casting, throw this product into the bag container evenly.
