SR-SCARA-Pro is a lightweight SCARA robotic arm customized for the Automated Real Device Testing. It can be used to carry out rigorous test, functionality test and can be used for manual testing on all sorts of capacitive touchscreens and resistive touch-panels. This makes it suitable for automating touchscreen testing for devices that range from smartphones, tablets, laptops to multi-touch TV screens, infotainment systems and touch-sensitive industrial control panels and other touch-enabled HMI panels.
SR-SCARA-Pro is built to save time and money alongside the improvement in accuracy and efficiency of touch screen testing. It is the world's fastest touchscreen testing robot which can reach speeds upto 800 touches per minute. Furthermore, it can do common touch gestures like single tap, double tap, long press, swipe and zoom (requires different end effector for zoom).
Vision feedback of the testing routine can be obtained through camera (does not come with base unit; this can be added through our enquiry contacts below). The camera unit will enable the automation of more complex test functionalities.
SR-SCARA-Pro is built with the latest technologies like 3D printing and open-source Robot Operating System. It is highly suited for research purposes in Universities and schools. Using our packages for this robot, it can be interfaced to MATLAB, LABView, ROS and other software applications.
