SR-SCARA-Pro is a lightweight scara robotic arm meant for process automation in small and medium scale industries. It can be used in a variety of production line and assembly line operations where robotic arms will improve the efficiency of the process by increasing the production output significantly. Some of the common automation implementations includes Packing and Palletizing, Testing and Measurement, Assembling, light material handling, machine tending, moving parts between two carousels and so on. Scara robots are suited for production spaces that have space constraints which is why small and medium scale businesses will find SR-Scara-Pro to be suitable for their use.
SR-Scara-Pro has the capability to add several different end effectors like 2-finger robotic grippers, 3-finger robotic grippers, camera for inspection, linear motors for mimicing mobile phone gestures on test touchscreens and many more. With the provision for adding vision feedback using an attachable camera unit, it can be used to automate more complex tasks compared to other arm-only robot scara.
