Working Principle of Holding Electromagnet
The working principle of this kind of electromagnet is similar to that of linear moving electromagnet. Usually, when the coil is stimulated, the slider moves to the core and stops at the end point. When the power supply is cut off, the slider will remain in its original place, which is also known as the retaining electromagnet. If you want the slider to return, you must apply a reverse voltage (or current) so that you can successfully complete a task, and then repeat this action, in order to complete its important mission.
The difference between dual-holding electromagnet and common electromagnet:
The working principle of ordinary push-pull electromagnet is to push (or pull back) by electrification and reset after power failure. If it needs a long time to maintain the push-pull state (or pull state), it needs a long time to power on and power off, which has a certain impact on its life. The advantage of ordinary push-pull electromagnet is that it can quickly realize push-pull action (three times a second at the fastest). It is often used in some mechanical structure equipment that needs to realize push-pull action quickly. 。
The principle of one-way holding electromagnet is to add a permanent magnet block at the end of the product of the ordinary push-pull electromagnet. Its working principle is that the power can be cut off immediately when the electromagnet is turned on (or pulled down), but it will still remain at the terminal (just like the ordinary push-pull electromagnet is powered on for a long time, keeping the power on to achieve push-pull state), but it can be cut off immediately after the electromagnet is turned on. Mainly depends on the internal permanent magnet block generated by the retention force in the terminal, when the stroke and force can be maintained. The reset needs reverse power supply, which is mainly used in some mechanical structures that need to be pushed out for a long time.
Dual-holding electromagnet has the same principle as unidirectional-holding electromagnet, except that it is designed with two coils inside, so that it can produce retaining force at both ends, and the stroke and retaining force at both ends are the same.
The biggest difference between the maintenance electromagnet and the ordinary electromagnet is that if the ordinary electromagnet needs a long time to maintain the push-out distance and force, it can only be achieved by a long time of power-on, while the maintenance electromagnet can be switched off immediately after the launch of the power-on, relying on the internal permanent magnet block to maintain the push-out distance and force, without the need for a long time of power-on.
The biggest difference between double-holding electromagnet and single-holding electromagnet is that only one end of the sole-holding electromagnet has retaining force, and the reset needs reverse electrification and spring to achieve reset. After reset, there is no retaining force at all, only spring's rebounding force is still there. As long as a little force is pushed, it will automatically keep in the past at the retaining end. The two-way retaining electromagnet can be maintained at both ends. For example, when the power is turned on and the power is cut off at the left end, it will maintain the stroke and strength, and when the reverse power is turned on, it will extend to the right side to maintain the stroke and strength.
