*Brief
Nickel 201 is a commercially pure wrought nickel, with good mechanical properties and an excellent resistance to many corrosives. Nickel 201 has low carbon (0.02% max) for applications over 315°C it is mainly used for food processing equipment, chemical shipping drums, caustic handling equipment and piping, electronic parts, aerospace and missile components, rocket motor cases, magnetostrictive devices.

*Feature
Excellent heat resistance strong alkali corrosion. For carbonate, nitrate, oxides and acetic acid salt and other salt, alkaline and neutral solution medium, good corrosion resistance. Fatty acid's corrosion resistance. Nickel 201 is the low-carbon version of Nickel 200. Because of its low carbon content, Nickel 201 is not subject to embrittlement by intergranularly precipitated carbon or graphite when exposed to temperatures of 315 to 760℃ for prolonged time if carbonaceous materials are not in contact with it. Therefore, it is a substitute for Nickel 200
